Ongoing CSSAW Projects
Education:
CSSAW will find appropriate education for the refugees including ESL, K-12, community college classes, and university level courses. As an organization that focuses on the value of education, CSSAW pays for or supplements tuition fees and educational costs. CSSAW is currently seeking additional funding to help subsidize these educational programs. In particular, a learning center has been crafted specifically for the needs of some of these young women. Additional funding and grant writing is a constant need of this program.

Fundraising:
To help with the significant costs of resettlement, CSSAW has set an annual fundraising goal of $250,000.
Donate Furniture and Household Items:
CSSAW is looking for donations of furniture and household items. This includes kitchen items, bedding, lamps, computers, bathroom essentials, etc. We will be completely furnishing two new apartments for new arrivals.
Public Relations:
We need volunteers to help get the word out about upcoming CSSAW events and news through the local media, the CSSAW website, and written publications.
Health Care:
CSSAW aims to provide a safe environment for addressing physical and mental health care issues of the Sudanese women in Boulder.
Jobs:
CSSAW has three new women who are currently seeking employment.
Transportation:
CSSAW will help familiarize the women with RTD bus routes, and if possible, provide transportation for them when needed.
